FAQ

Everything you need to know before taking on the STADIUMTREK challenge

Event Basics

What is STADIUMTREK?

+

STADIUMTREK is a 3-hour endurance race inside a stadium where athletes ascend, traverse, and descend stadium stairs in a continuous loop. The goal is to complete as many steps as possible—up to 14,000 total steps.

How long is the event?

+

The race runs for 3 hours, typically in the evening (around 6:00–10:00 PM depending on location).

Where does the race take place?

+

Inside football stadiums mainly within the stands and throughout the stadium concourse

How many people participate?

+

Events are designed for around 200–400 participants, creating a competitive but not overcrowded environment.

Who is this event for?

+

Runners, endurance athletes, fitness enthusiasts, competitive individuals, and anyone looking for a unique physical and mental challenge.

The Course

How does the race work?

+

You’ll complete continuous loops inside the stadium: ascend one stair section, move across, descend the next, and repeat. You continue until you reach 14,000 total steps or the 3-hour time cap.

Can I walk, or do I have to run?

+

Both are completely fine. Some athletes race for speed, while others pace themselves.

Will it be crowded?

+

The race begins with a full stadium lap that naturally spreads participants out by pace, so congestion clears quickly.

Registration & Participation

What does my registration include?

+

Entry into the event, official timing and results, a unique stadium race experience, and access to sponsor activations.

Can I compete as a team?

+

Yes. You can participate individually or as part of a relay team of up to four people.

Is this beginner-friendly?

+

Yes—but it’s still a serious challenge. You’ll see first-timers pushing their limits alongside experienced endurance athletes competing at a high level.

Safety & Event Experience

Is the event safe?

+

Yes. The event is fully staffed with course monitors, volunteers, and medical personnel, with clearly guided routes throughout the stadium.

What happens if there’s bad weather?

+

If conditions make the stairs unsafe, such as rain creating slippery surfaces, the event will be canceled and participants will be refunded.

Are spectators allowed?

+

Yes. Friends and family can watch from designated viewing areas inside the stadium.
